Procedure Home of Orange
Step 1:
Easily create a selection of suitable rental properties based on your housing preferences and criteria. Important factors include your budget, desired location, preferred start date, size, and additional housing requirements such as outdoor space and/or parking.
Step 2:
If you see one or more interesting properties, please contact us! Our rental agent will discuss the terms with you before scheduling a viewing appointment for the property;
- do you have sufficient income to rent the property?
- how many people do you intend to live in the property with?
- do you have any pets?
- from when are you looking for a rental property?
- for how long do you intend to rent?
If you qualify to rent the property, we will schedule a viewing with you. During the viewing, you can thoroughly inspect the property with the rental agent and, of course, ask any questions you may have. If you are unable to attend the viewing in person, we also conduct viewings regularly via video call. This way, you still have the opportunity to see the property, virtually walk around, and ask questions to the rental agent.
Step 3:
When you intend to rent the property, we will ask you to provide various details. The information you submit and your creditworthiness will be checked. If deemed suitable, you will be proposed to the landlord of the property. Upon the landlord's acceptance of you as a tenant, we will request a deposit of €500 from you. Upon receiving the deposit, the lease agreement will be drawn up. Upon receipt of the lease agreement, you will receive the payment overview for the first month's rent and the security deposit. This amount must be credited to our account before the key handover. Once received, we will schedule the key handover and jointly prepare a comprehensive check-in inspection report including photos, of which you will receive a signed copy.
Search Request
If we don't have the property you desire in our own portfolio, let the experienced team of our label Hendriks Housing assist you in your search. With our years of experience and extensive network, we ensure that you can move into a new home within a few weeks. The fee for this search is one month's rent (excluding VAT) and is always based on a 'no cure, no pay' basis.
What do you need to submit when renting a property?
Candidate tenants in paid employment:
- valid identification (passport or ID-card);
- employer's statement (max. 3 months old)
- 3 most recent payslips and your signed employment contract;
- recent bank statement showing your current address and payment of your salary;
- landlord’s statement if you currently renting another property
Self-employed individuals:
- valid identification (passport or ID-card);
- recent exctract of the Chamber of Commerce (KvK) with valid identification of the authorized signatory(ies) of the company;
- recent business bank statement showing your business address and salary payment of your salary / proof of sufficient income;
- recent income Tax return of the past 2 years;
- landlord statement if you are currently renting another property
